Born and raised in Virginia, Ben graduated college with honors in Philosophy and trained under master carpenters at high-end Design/Build firms specializing in sustainable building and the renovation of century-old homes. After relocating to Port Angeles in 2021, Ben got licensed as a general contractor and opened up Northwoods Workshop with the hope of contributing to his community through crafting beautiful, energy-efficient spaces that provide comfort and joy. When he's not working hard he is probably off exploring the Olympics with his wife and their one-year-old son.
